Pullmantur was founded in 1971 in Madrid, Spain, as a tour operator with bus tours throughout Spain and Europe.
Almost 30 years later, in the late 1990s, Pullmantur joined the cruise industry.
In 2005, Pullmantur Cruises revolutionized the cruise industry in Spain by introducing the TODO INCLUIDO system. The concept of All Included quickly proved to be successful.
In November of 2006, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines purchased Pullmantur S.A. and affiliates.In November of 2006, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines purchased Pullmantur S.A. and affiliates.
Although Pullmantur appeals mainly to Spanish market, and Spanish speaking passengers, a growing number of travel operators outside the Spanish speaking world are now booking cruises on Pullmantur Cruises
