January 5 - 2010 : AMAWATERWAYS INTRODUCES NEW PRIVILEGE LOYALTY PROGRAM
Award-winning river cruise line AMAWATERWAYS is proud to introduce “AMAWATERWAYS Privilege,” its new loyalty program launching with the 2010 sailing season. The Privilege program applies to all vessels in the AMAWATERWAYS fleet. The new “Privilege” program will acknowledge loyal guests with three different reward levels: Blue, Silver and Gold. Each is designed to reward the guest’s ongoing loyalty to AMAWATERWAYS, the fastest-growing and most amenity-filled river cruise line in the river cruise industry.
“We are fortunate to have a very substantial number of repeat passengers who enjoy cruising with us. This is our way of thanking them for their continued loyalty, and for inspiring us to constantly develop more innovative programs and itineraries each season,” said Rudi Schreiner, President of AMAWATERWAYS .
Beginning this season, all passengers cruising with AMAWATERWAYS are automatically enrolled into the AMAWATERWAYS Privilege program. Passengers will be provided with a booklet in their stateroom explaining the benefits of the rewards program. They will also find an exclusively designed AMAWATERWAYS Privilege pin to wear during the cruise.
AMAWATERWAYS Privilege benefits commence with the second cruise. These “Blue Level” benefits include a $100 per person discount on the cruise price plus a special AMAWATERWAYS Privilege guest reception on board. A third cruise entitles guests to “Silver Level” benefits, including all of the above Blue Level benefits plus a Dinner with a Senior Crew Member and a choice of welcome amenity. Silver Level members also receive Complimentary Airport Transfers plus a 50 percent discount on an upgrade to a higher stateroom category (excluding all suites).
Four or more cruises with AMAWATERWAYS entitles the passenger to “Gold Level” benefits that include all prior level benefits with the exception of the 50 percent discount on an upgraded stateroom category. Instead of a discount on the stateroom upgrade, Gold Level members receive a complimentary stateroom category upgrade if available at the time of booking (excluding suites).
With each successive AMAWATERWAYS Privilege level, guest will also receive a specially-designed commemorative pin in their stateroom. AMAWATERWAYS Privilege benefits apply to bookings made by travel agents or directly through AMAWATERWAYS.
