February 29 - 2012 : Weddings at Sea with The Maine Windjammer Association
Planning a windjammer wedding takes the stress out of wedding day. By the time you board, everything’s done. Captain Mike of the Angelique says, “I like weddings. I’m a sap, I get choked up. I usually do one or two a year. Sometimes the bride and groom don’t tell anyone they’re getting married. When the other guests find out, they’ll go ashore and get gifts, provide simple acts of kindness, even for strangers. They’ll even cry.”
February 27 - 2012 : New Wedding Programs with Cunard Line
While Cunard ships have long served as a romantic backdrop to love stories across the globe, couples will soon be able to say "I do" during a luxury cruise aboard the most famous ocean liners in the world, for the first time in the Line's 172-year history. Beginning in April 2012, guests will be able to celebrate an unforgettable wedding day at sea, conducted by the Captain, aboard Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.

February 23 - 2012 : SCENIC CRUISES FOLLOWS IN THE WAKE OF ANCIENT TRADE ROUTES

February 12 - 2012 : AmaWaterways Unveils New African Cruise and Safari Tour
Showcasing herds of zebras, grazing elephants and rivers teeming with exotic animals,AmaWaterways’ adventurous African safari river cruises will debut in the summer of 2012.
Recently featured on the hit TV show, “Jack Hanna’s Into The Wild,” AmaWaterways explores Africa’s most renowned locations, including South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania up close and personal. February 09 - 2012 : International Cruise Victims Association (ICV) Promotes Safety on Cruise Ships
In conjunction with efforts by the International Cruise Victims Association (ICV), major legislation to improve safety on cruise ships has just been announced in California by Assembly member Roger Hernández (D – West Covina).
He has introduced legislation that would ensure the rights of cruise ship patrons when a crime is committed against them while they are at sea. Assembly Bill 1060 would allow California law to apply to crimes committed at sea, and would require every cruise line to provide notification to passenger victims that they can pursue additional avenues of recourse when reporting a crime.

February 09 - 2012 : American Cruise Lines showcases the new paddlewheeler, Queen of the Mississippi
American Cruise Lines, the leader in small ship cruising, has announced its 2013 schedule for the brand-new 150-passenger authentic paddlewheeler, Queen of the Mississippi.
“We’re excited about the release of 2013 sailings aboard Queen of the Mississippi,” said Timothy Beebe, Vice President, American Cruise Lines. “We received a wonderful response to the 2012 inaugural season and look forward to further accommodating this demand with the 2013 schedule.”

February 07 - 2012 : Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines launches new
Canaries, North Africa and Cape Verde

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is introducing a new programme of exotic fly-cruises to the Canary Islands, West Africa and the Cape Verde Islands aboard Braemar, to go on general sale from 6th February 2012.
The exciting new fly-cruise itineraries – including ‘Sun and Souks’, ‘African Beaches and Tropical Islands’ and ‘Morocco, Madeira and the Canaries’ – will depart from London Gatwick and Manchester airports and are available between 6th January 2013 and 17th March 2013.
