December 13 - 2010 : NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE ANNOUNCES ‘FREE UPGRADES FOR ALL’
To celebrate Wave Season, Norwegian Cruise Line is launching its “Free Upgrades For All” Sales Event (www.ncl.com/upgrade). All new reservations booked from today through March 27, 2011 on select sailings on any of the line’s 11 Freestyle Cruising ships will receive an up to a four-category upgrade, along with e-coupons in on-board savings of up to $400. In addition, bi-weekly promotions beginning January 3, 2011 will feature special offers on select ships and destinations.

“Our special Wave season offers make this the perfect time to book a cruise for 2011 and beyond,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer. “A cruise vacation already represents a great value and now when combined with our Wave offers and signature Freestyle Cruising, there’s no better time to plan a cruise vacation.”
In addition, Norwegian’s travel partners can take advantage of a variety of customizable resources and downloadable marketing tools for the “Free Upgrades For All” sales event at www.nclagentsalesevent.com, complete with e-mail blasts, banner ads and flyers. The portal also integrates customizable e-cards and sharable content for Facebook and Twitter allowing agents the convenience to continue to socialize with clients easily and frequently. In addition, beginning in January, Norwegian will launch agent contests during each bi-weekly promotion.
